Russell Merlot 2022

This Merlot wine is named after co-owner John Russell and his family, this wine is made from 100% Merlot grapes sourced from Double Canyon Vineyards. The grapes were cultivated in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA of Washington. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks for two weeks, with pump-overs conducted twice daily to achieve deep color and rich tannin extraction. Following yeast and malolactic fermentation, the wine was delicately pressed, settled, and then aged for 18 months in a balanced selection of American and French oak barrels, enhancing its depth and complexity.
