Syrah
The grapes for this Syrah blend were sourced from two different vineyard sites in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA of Washington state: the Al Fountain Vineyard and Weinbau Vineyard. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks for 18 days with pump-overs carried out twice a day to ensure full extraction of color and tannin. After yeast and ML fermentation, the wine was pressed, settled, and then transferred to French and American oak barrels for 18 months of aging.
